IoT increases service

Powerworld’s engineering department has provided the heat pumps with a new service. The standard WiFi connection has been expanded with IoT (Internet of Things).

If we look at the image above, we see how Powerworld IoT works.

This does not contain any new products. Everything is already in house:

• Powerworld heat pump
• control panel (of the heat pump)
• router (available as standard in the homes)
• The heat pump is connected to the engineers via the Internet

As soon as the heat pump has a malfunction, the installer will visit the project. Thanks to IoT, Powerworld’s engineers and service center can log in directly to the heat pump. From the received data we can make an initial analysis of a possible cause of the malfunction.

The installer can then visit the project with better (prior) knowledge and work effectively.
It offers many advantages:

• shorter downtime
• increasing comfort in the home
• lower repair costs (time)

Installers are pleased with this message and see this development as an additional incentive to sell and install Powerworld heat pumps.

IoT is available on all R32 and R290 heat pumps.
